It had been 10 years since I had last seen their graves. I read their names, staring up at me from the grass, "BECK."
I knelt beside the stone and whispered, "Hi." Then I sat and said "I've missed you guys."
Laying down beside them,  I began to cry, running my hand over their names....Earl....Marie....Earl....Marie...
I rolled over onto my back and stared up at the April sky. "Oh I wish you guys were here."
Two birds flew by over head, chasing each other in and out of the puffy clouds.
"Is that you?" I whispered.
My hand still tracing their names, letter by letter now.
"A lot's happened since you've gone," I said, "but I bet you already know all about it. I bet you've been watching, havn't
you?"
Then just silence for a while, as I felt their love come flooding back, as alive as ever. Tears streaming down from my eyes, I
said , " I wish you could hold me right now and tell me everything is gonna be ok."
As I sit up I pick the grass from my hair and then rise to my knees. Brushing the grass off my back now, I straigten my
jacket.
I rise to my feet, kiss my fingertips, and then press them against each name....Earl....Marie.....
I start back to the car, not so much hurt and loss now...but a reunion.
All I'll hold tight to it, until we say hello , again.

I find great comfort in visiting cemetaries, cleaning them up, thinking back on all memories, good or bad. It is a time of healing, as well as a time of paying respect.

My only suggestion in your writing at this point is to try to make your paragraphs easier to read, by allowing for the additional "enter" to break them apart.

I look forward to reading more! Thank you for this!

oh gosh, I know the feeling. I love this, yet it made me cry. you see, today marks the 3 year anniversary of my grandma's death. so today I am especially fragile, so when I read this, I wept..in rememberance, and just because I connected to it on such a level I can't describe. it's never easy to lose someone you love.

I'm not as drunk as some tinkle peed I am!

Don't frown, you never know who is falling in love with your smile. :)

Sometimes that is what we have to sustain us. This is sad but comforting also.

Love has many masks. I am but one of them.
