As I walk down the hallway, I think of what we used to be. Best of friends, spoke of secrets, unveiled our hearts. I thought you were someone to help me through this complex, insane world. A fitting piece to my own soul. We never argued, that was our demise. Your pent up emotions and hatred boiled over until you shunned me. I, so unaware, so unable to correct. You hurt me then, and I hated who you became. You, a stranger to me. I stare now, at the pictures on the wall, and the stain on the carpet from when you spilled Bicardi. I glance at the stale memories... all that is left of you. All that reamains of us. |
