The doldrums had begun. The cold limp dreams carried inside had frozen at some indefinate point during those blistering winter days in which Jodi was possessed by her infinite knowledge of nothing. The dreams however had thawed in the warm spring of Adrian's eyes; and although it frightened her at first, the prospect of actually living again...But that was all over now. Now the doldrums had begun.
