Love for one another is nature's gift which everyone can freely offer to one another without any apprehensions. I have been in love with someone for so many years who feels that giving love is something very sacred and keeps saying that it would destroy the 'sanctity' of the relationship. Is there a way to tell her or make her believe how much I love her. There has not been a day when I don't wake up in the morning with a heavy head thinking about every moment I had shared with her but it seems its still not satisfying for her to prove my love. Indeed I started to write a personal letter to her saying that the mental struggle between my heart and mind is taking its toll and I'm putting an end to all this now. But I'd never want this to end for she was so sweet and still I feel her near me as once she was. It all makes me believe that she had run into so many relationships with men and ended up miserably getting heartbroken each time. Indeed once she told me over phone that 'she knows about how guys are'.
I never have looked for a sexual embrace or kiss from any other women. We're all human and we feel the need for love which I've never felt for a very long time. I don't know whether to move ahead or not. But I know for sure everyday thinking about her and loving her is taking its toll.

chinaman - If you're really looking for suggestions on a situation, rather than as a "prose" piece, this may be better in the Feelings forum. If you'd like me to move it there, where it will likely receive more attention, please let me know.
