The Life of a Dreamer:

I'm happy here in this room thinking about everything at once. This white encased box which traps me from the outer infections we call reality. I tend to swing to the "fake" and "imaginary" that we think is too odd to even consider real. In the end I know that thought will outbeat fact. This is all I have worked up for through my years of growing. From thinking one thing to another, and finally into a subsequencial, and unstoppable thought process. I am thankful for this, you see, yet it confounds my life because those around me doubt and question everything I bring forth as a danger to this clone society. We are a dying breed, us dreamers, and we must hide within the shadows of thought and humanity to only spring out when in need. This white box that cages me like an animal feeds my soul and makes me thrive beyond any physical force imaginable. I have beliefs that could put me away forever, yet in knowing this, I gain a sense of pride that the world needs me. The world needs me for one reason, I am its child. I am one with nature and God. I am what people are striving to achieve. Greed, hate, and everything that is negative has been shut down from my white box of life. If you dare step in, know that you can never get out. And in knowing this, your making your first leap of faith into the life of a dreamer. The life no one believes is real.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

This is very cool! I love your idea and theme here, being a fantasist/dreamer myself. This was great! Continue to share your dreams.

The life of the dreamer...

I was always one to mark "strongly disagree" on those multiple choice questionaires that asked "Do you believe that chicken really tastes like everything?"

Loco pollo...hehe,

Well, that was a superb trip my friend, thanks for the ride...

Glad to see a little feed-back. I posted this up about a month ago and it didn't get replies up until now. Amazing! Anyway, thanks for the comments. Much appreciated!

I don't think this is a dream, it may be more real than you know.

Thanks for the read and posting a reply to my post.

What can I say?  I dig.  Though it gets a little abstract at points... but still, it's really interesting.  It might be nifty to flesh out some as a tale -- but that's your choice, and it's interesting enough now if you prefer to leave it.

Dopey:

I am at a loss for words here.  You have no idea how this post has touched me.  I am sorry if I sound rather silly and trite here, but seriously, this had quite an impact on me.  I too am a dreamer.  I am so glad to see someone else in a world of thinkers who've given up on humankind having much more to do with itself than make more humans, who holds the same beliefs I do.  This was a truly awesome piece of writing, Dopey.  Though it may not have the best grammar, it's message is one that I've needed to hear from someone else other than myself, for a while now.

Thankyou for sharing!

Dreamers... geez...   Dreamers are just people who are so content with their own beliefs that they don't bother to question or even examine them.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Keep dreamin', Javier.
