Gather ‘round my friends and let me tell you a tale of a day long ago, when magic abounded and reign by the sword was rule of the day.  Or should we maybe delve into the tales of the future, what could and might be?  A post-apocalyptic world scarred and bedraggled as the remnants of humanity make their stand against the mad Emperor Shrike and his fell cyborg minions?  Or possibly document the trials, hopes, failures and successes of the marooned remains of an interplanetary research time?

Wondering what the heck this fool Dusk Treader could be babbling on about now?  Well, so do I… hey! wait, I mean, that will be all explained in this little post, or so I hope.  Some of you, I hope, will remember the “Fictional Workshop” and the little story that was created and expanded upon there.

That is what I would like to experiment with in Prose, would it not be great to see a story unfold there as each person adds his own piece to the whole to form one whole tale?  A story created by many, with all their creativity, style and ideas to form one grand tale.

Here’s my plan for all you passionate people: Someone starts a thread in prose, introducing us to a small cast of characters and describing the setting that will be used for our tale.  And then people can reply to this first post to guarantee their spot in our story.

As it comes to each person they can write up their addition to the work, anything you want, short or long (not too long, they’ll have to draw a line somewhere LOL)!  Work in a love story, or twist the entire plot around, have a great battle it’s all up to you!

Now, all you wonderful people out there, what do you think of my idea?  Will it float or sink like the Titanic?  Got a suggestion to add?  Like to say it’s a great idea?  Want to ask a question? Please post!  I’d love to hear what all of you out there have to say and I’ll try to answer or find answers for questions!

Many thanks!

And, much like the community poems, when a concensus is reached that the storyline is done, I will combine all the responses and edit and do all that magic stuff, then...Post it as a whole, giving credit to everyone who contributed!
Great idea Abe!

Great idea Abe!  I say go for it!  Heck, I'd even drop in and see what I could do!

I'm sorry about all the confusion sounding this, if you'd like to add to the story, go to the thread entitled:

For sweet_collage_girl....Fiction Workshop Reborn

Or try this link:

Fiction Workshop Reborn

Thank you for reading this and hope to see your ideas for the story!
