One day, I was surfing the 'net, and I came across Passions in Poetry. Being a poet, I was immediately interested and excited, so I decided to check out the forums. While registering, I remember sitting here at my computer wondering what I should call myself... For once, I was glad that my parents named me because choosing a name for yourself is hard work! I thought to myself, "How can I describe ME in just one word? Maybe two?" I wanted my monniker to catch people's eye. I wanted to stand out from all the other poets. It's not that I wanted to be better than them... No, no, no... Just merely be noticed among them. And I surfed through the forums, reading poetry and trying to figure out what made my poetry different from that of the other poems. That's when it came to me. I was thinking that all of us here at Passions express the way that we are feeling through our poetry, trying to touch someone just to hear that we are not alone. Then I thought that this is what I do, so how could I be different? It hit me then. I couldn't be different. I was only one voice among the many here at Passions. And that's how my monniker came to be. I am only ~one voice~ among the many.

One voice you may be, but you stir a chorus within us all. I find it hard to believe you could ever do less than stand out, even amongst the gifted poets of this family we have.

One voice? I think not. A choir rather.

Thoughts of my Lady are making me sentimental tonight. I love her dearly and eagerly await her return.
