My tale isn't near as gripping as Severn's is and it is good!! Mine started out as a joke one day at a party I attended about 20 yrs' ago (I know I'm showing my age here) and we were just sittin' around talkin' and this guy looked at me while I was in an inebriated stupor and he said something to the effect of "you look like such a wild child" and I in turn said Yep Baby I'm the wildest. All my friends that were there decided that it was a good handle for me on the c.b (remember them?) so I used that moniker for quite awhile and when I took up writing poetry again I decided to stay with the name. It is said to fit my personality. Even though I am up there in age chronologically and a grandmother now I still feel about 24 or so and hope to continue to feel this way. My husband still thinks I'm pretty wild so stick with what ya know, ya know.

LOL!!(Thanks for the compliment, WC!) Age should be no barrier to fun, or play, or the way you feel about yourself - it's just our system for numbering ourselves! The younger you feel, the happier you are, I reckon. I'm a youngie still - and I intend to stay that way! Keep partying, WildChild.

We don't see age here, we see spirit! You still have that WildChild spirit!

To stay young at heart, that's what it's all about! Those wild days for me have gone, but I am glad to see it sticks with you!
