Still too young to be myself I never was. Since the genocide (euphemisticly called conquest) I was picked up by some of the first evangelizers and taught to worship Christ, the holy trinity, and the virgin Mary. Unfortunately their faith´s message was totaly incogruent with the attitude the conquerers had upon us.When a priest preached about Jesus´ piety we, in the meantime, where shown no mercy. While some church folks talked about the "equality" of all nations under God, we weren´t even allowed to hear mass inside the Churches; we where only forced to build them using the scraps from our own ruined temples.

Being forced to be what you are not,by those who tell you what you should be is the most difficult things to deal with.Only you can decide who you are. Nicely written.

I am. How shallow it is when i say it.even when such a phrase should be charged with intensity and honesty, i can´t lie.
