I am not mortally empowered to reconcile with this mania. I am not able to encumber serenity alone. My body tires of trying. My soul has no color. Only gray... And my heart has no feeling. I long for peace and I only find in the state of subconciouness. But, alas, it is so very hard to reach it. I want to feel love again. It's not easy being gray, but gray's the color of the sky, on cloudy day, the scent of the world enveloped in a quilt of fog. Gray is the essence of the ash of embers that burned brightly for a time, and gray is the feeling of my soul after yearning for life not to be mine. |
