God's Gift To Me When my world is filled with troubles & everything is out of control. When I'm looking for an anchor or something on which to hold. When everything is going wrong and my troubles are as bad as they seem. When it seems I stand alone. The only player on my team. When my emotions are running wild and I can fight back tears no more. When Life has clipped my wings, but all I want to do is soar. When I'm dealt a losing hand and only darkness fills my days. When I stumble and sometimes fall and I hurt in many ways. You're always there to comfort me, always standing by my side. Waiting there to welcome me with arms open wide. The world sees you as my mother, I see my best friend. The one who loves me for me and with whom I don't have to pretend. You'd carry my burdens, cry my tears, and take away all my pain if you could. You'd fight my battles, right my wrongs and make all bad things good. All these things you'd do for me all in the name of love. You're the greatest gift God could give a daughter. Sent From Heaven Above. |
