I meant to write asking if anyone knows about a poem with the topic of the Goya painting (not poem) called "Colossus" or "The Giant".

I was wondering if you are sure it is about a Goya painting or the name Colossus, a Goya painting?  If the later, then that poem is written on the Statue Of Liberty in the United States.  Otherwise, I am not aware of any poet during the late 1700's or 1800's that took on the task of writing about Goya's art, but I have been wrong before.  If you find it I would be interested in what it is as I appreciate his art.  Thanks.

I had to type in the correct spelling in order to get to the painting. I'm sure you'll find additional links as you continue your research. Have fun, good luck, and Welcome to Passions!
