Looking for original author for phrase "Music is the way feelings sound"

Hello everyone,
I know it has been too long since I have been here, and for that I apologize. My creative and work pursuits have led me in many new directions, but I think of you all often. To that means I have been asked to design an image for a client of mine around the phrase " Music is the way feelings sound." I googled this phrase and came up with a lot of people quoting it in myspaces and the like, but no one has given credit to the original author. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can track this info down? Thank you in advance.

I dug deep into google searches and found reference to Tchaikovsky but no confirmation that it is indeed a quote by them. I couldn't find a reputable source.
