Looking for a particular poem

Well Hello,

First time here and think I'm in the right spot.  I have been looking for a particular poem for years now.  I only have bits and pieces and a general idea of it.  I'm much appreciate if someone has a lead for me or a lead to follow.

This is what I have.  I **think** it is by an author by the name of "Robert".  It is not Robert Frost --i have searched and searched his sites.  Also, it could be by "author unknown".  I read in an Ann Landers column.  LOL.  I have tried searching for old archived columns but did not get anywhere.

I believe it is called something like:  The Runaway Train or Journey of the runaway Train.  The poem talks about how one is sitting next to a window of a train and watches life pass by waiting for his to start when he realizes this is it.  This is your life to live and go to it.

Anyone?

Have you googled any of the key lines that you remember? Try that, and if you don't come up with anything, let us know.

Yes I have and no matter the words I put in the one I get back is one by Robert Frost by it simply isn;t the one I am in search of.

Hello Sunshine...........that is exactly it ....although I seem to remember it a bit differently (I dont recall all the passages and wonder if it had been shortened for the column--which I would doubt very much)
