Hey there.

Im in Y11 And i'm having to do pre 1914 comparison coursework of 3 poems.

The Charge of the Light Brigade
Vitai Lampada
After Blenheim

Im finding After Blenheim extremely difficult to understand and analyse, Can anyone help?

The Battle of Blenheim is quite famous, as that battle stopped Louis XIV from ruling France.  Here is a little history for you, but I am not sure what you trying to do a comparison on or why, so hope this helps.  The poem is pretty straight forward and the I have to admit the first time I read it was right here on this site (the main site) under classical poetry.
