Is a haiku considered a haiku if it doesn't directly involve nature? I was just wondering.

if its in the same syllable format
but not about nature
its called a senryu
and it doesn't need to rhyme
it isn't a stretched out
chopped up sentence

each line is best
when if offered alone,
it can stand alone
as a single thought
and when well written?
they all somehow
form a wholeness
at least, that's the way I interpret
the form and intent

read some things on the net about haiku, senryu, and also tanka forms
grin,
remember to have fun!

PS, THANKS for such a kind reply to one of my poems!
