how do I contact a moderator to make an edit correction on a poem?
I misspelled portray the first time?

Nothing Left

How dare you bend your mighty sword
    on words you did portray
You cling to dirt that stains
your hands and promises you made

Thanks,

Easy.  On every page, right under the blue navigation bar is a list of current mods, dep mods and admins for that particular forum.  Click their name or title, and you'll be taken either to an email page, or a contact page.

You can also go back and edit your own work. It is one of the icons at the top of the post.

Ah !
But ... one only has a 24 hour time frame to make edits to their own post ... after that, it necessitates calling on a Moderator to do so~

Actually, we don't have 24 hours any longer.  More like...ten minutes or so, give or take a burp or two.

But after that time span, if it is a crucial edit, an Admin or Moderator can still assist!

Simply Gold...You have too have some magic dust and know a few magic words, like "Please" and "Thank You" and "You're an Angel". It looks like you found out what you needed too know...Paul

In checking out Sunshine's reply after mine ... I understood the link to Ron's post to state that the 10 minutes (changed to 30 minutes) was implemented so that the 'Edited by __so and so __ at __such and such a time__' wouldn't show up on the original post~

"I still 'think' we have 24 hours to edit our posts .... just have to put up with that 'edited by' message~

Right ??
Just tried .... this is what I got -

Sorry, but editing is only allowed for 24 hours after the original posting. Please contact a Moderator for help."

Going back in to read ALL of the past thread...you've got that 10 minute buffer before the "edited by" line appears.

Then apparently it is still someone's 24 hours [read all the thread - you will see that Mysteria was given minutes by others...] after the initial post where you can still make corrections, but will see the "edited by" line.

Nothing like getting confused in happiness over a minor twitch!
