I have found out one of my friends loves to write. So I encouraged her to join PiPs. Turns out that isn't currently possible. I was surprised. What do I tell her?

Larry...I sent the info to Sunshine (think she isn't as available at the moment... but I could be mistaken.) Anyway I got all the information from the person who wanted to join and sent it to Karilea( Nan or any other moderator) and they told that person what they needed to do and then they were allowed to join. I think that was only a month or so ago and all of a sudden I noticed they must have opened it for a bit for new members...then closed it again...so try emailing a moderator...

Whenever you need to contact an Admin, on every forum page at the top, there a link for the active moderators of that forum, and another to contact the piptalk admins.

Larry - If it's a referral from a member (that'd be you), just find out what your friend's choice of username will be - and an email address that hasn't been previously used here on PiP. Forward those two tidbits to an administrator and we'll be happy to enroll them.

Once they're enrolled, the system will issue Ron's welcome email with a password - which they should change ASAP. That's all there is to it.

Ron did turn on new memberships for a weekend - and likely will again... soon...

In lieu of that - Any admin can help for a referral. I'll be around tonight if you need me...

Oh yeah! AND she's going real slow like I did in the beginning. But I found out Carol is a prose writer. She tried to tell me her writing wouldn't fit in here. But I showed her some of my prose and she said "Yup I'll fit in."

She's been doing a lot of reading. Hasn't responded to anything yet. Just reminded me of how I started here. Thanks so much for your help!
