Could someone answer a few questions for me?

How does a non-member read posts?
Are they allowed to browse the archives?
Can a non-member print a selection of their choosing?

or does a member of the general public have to join the site to do any of these?

I ask because I have recently moved and friends whom I use to share my, and other posts, with by printing them myself, have asked how to read new posts.

I suggested to join and have access to their own private library that way ... but it seems that at this time memberships are not being taken.

What should I tell the public? Are we not a voice to be heard? Or are we just an echo of our own selves?

Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me of this issue.

FWIW, the only forums that require Membership for reading are the Mature Content ones (for obvious reasons). All of our standard forums, including the Archives, are open to the public for reading (and some even for posting).

Thanks Ron. Not sure what happened but I have had two non-members ask me why they couldn't get into the archives ... as far as I know it could be something with their computers ... I have explained what Nan sent me and hopefully we will have a few new members soon.

Thanks again for all you do Ron!
