What is the poetry workshop all about? Only moderators and such can post there, but i thought it was a forum to help you with poetry, like if you needed any tips or something.

Anyone can post in the Workshop. You do have to email Nan (its moderator) in order to get yourself enabled in that one forum. Go ahead. It's an easy process and doesn't cost a thing

We try to make the workshop fun for everyone.  It's not a place where we rip each poem to shreds and start over, but rather a place where we can learn some basics of good poetry.

We take on a new project every month (give or take)... such as rhyme, meter, formats (sonnet, pantoum, villanelle, etc)... and everyone tries their best to contribute.  Our members can make requests for the following months, and sometimes assist in coordinating the instructional portion.

I've approved you for access to the workshop forum, so we'll be looking forward to seeing you there...
