How come it wont let me put smilies in my signature? I learned how to write from a friend of mine. Sometimes I think the student has surpassed the teacher :darklol: |

Your not allowed to smilies in your signature, I think that is the only reason. |

For the same reason our profile pictures don't appear in every post we make. Graphics use more bandwidth than text. Passions averages over 50,000 visits a day, and over 200,000 individual page views... Those are just the readers (using bandwidth)... Yesterday's posts here in the forums totaled nearly 1200. If every one of those posts included smilies & graphics, not only would it slow down our pace, it would also cost significantly more for the bandwidth we use... Ergo - no smilies in our signatures... But we can use them inside our posts...  |
