Hello together! I need your help because I can´t speak english very good. I am from Germany and before a couple of weeks I met an american.He is in the U.S army and left Germany in December, I think. The Problem is: He speak only english and my english is not so good. Now I want to write him a poem, but I don´t know how. Because the Sentence position is very hard. Maybe here is someone who can speak a little bit german?!Or maybe someone can show me a poem that suits to my situation. Please answer me. Thank you.. Sandy |

I have an idea. I think it will solve the problem. You should write the poem in German, and translate it to him when you're together. That will make it very personal, and it will let you write a poem that has a deeper meaning for both of you. Also, give it to him in German, not English. Thank you for you answers.. Yes, Ratleader, that´s a good Idea. But he can´t speak german.. not only a word. And maybe I cannot translate it so how I would become it gladly. But I think about it ;-) I send Helmut an email and hope, that he can help me. Thank you all so much for you help. That´s really nice. Hallo Sandy, Bitte schicken Sie ihre Gedicht zu mir und dann versuche ich es zu ersatzen in Englisch. Ich wohne in die Niederländen und habe Deutsches unterricht gehabt in der Schule. Ich spreche und schreibe es nicht so gut mehr, weil dass war schon lange her, aber ich kann es sehr gut lesen und begreifen. Meine email empfinde sich nächst zu meine Nahme.
