Ok, I've never really known much about this, but lately I've found the changing colour of folders in the left column of the forum very useful. I know the white ones mean the last reply was from the poster, which I like seeing... because sometimes the poster addresses me in their threads, and I like to be able to respond accordingly... you know what I mean...  Not to mention, some replies to my poetry from people in Winnipeg, like quietlydying, shadymakaveli, and others... often appear as being from me, and the only way to notice a new reply is to either see the number one higher, or see the white folder, which is easier to catch. My problem is that I really have trouble predicting when I'll even see the colour of these folders. Sometimes they're all yellow, most of the time in fact... but at other times the colours seem to spontaneously take effect. What is it that I'm missing? I want to see folder colours all the time if possible, but have no idea what determines whether or not I do, in fact, see them. Can anyone help me out? |

If you never see reddish colored folders, you probably have a problem with cookies or, more likely, the way you access the forums. Go into the Member's Area/Troubleshooting Guide and read the article, "I think my cookies have crumbled." |

oh ok... the problem is that I have a specific forum bookmarked... in fact, I have all the main forums bookmarked in a folder, that's usually how I navigate PIP... Well, thanks for the advice, Ron. Most helpful.  |
