I also have another username that I used when I first joined, Angelpoet87. Sometimes in discussion, I find myself in the situation where I may want to share the link to a poem I wrote, and posted under that name. But I thought I should check to make sure that it is okay to do so. It is, with out doubt, my work. I just thought I would make sure it is still okay to claim it as such, since this is a new username.

From a personal note, I would say to repost under the original username.  There could be a lot of confusion as to "identities", and I think keeping it with the original username would deter that confusion.

But that's just my two cents!

Well, I lost the password to it, and the email account is no longer active. *tears*
Thanks anyway!

S.Q., if I were you, I'd simply post the poem and not mention anywhere that it's a repost under an alias. It's been long since you first posted the poem, I'm assuming, so I don't think they'll be any harm done.

Thanks, I was just worrying that someone might try and say I stole it or something, since I don't even go by "ali" on here, I just go by Sky.

((like the suggestion!!! that line of my poem had tripped me up n i wasnt sure how to smooth it out, thanks much!!))

n in reply to your post, if you put your real name on both copyrights then it shouldnt be a problem, if someone tries to claim you stole it you can usually prove it by the style of writing you use...what about trying to reactivate your old email account??? anyway, i hope we're all helping n not bombarding you with too much advice.
ttys! keep writing!!
