I tried to install AT&T and couldn't. But it took over my browser. How can I change it back to what it was before? Just Micrsoft? Without the "provided by AT&T" junk on there?

Any idea how I can get that off?

Just go to your "internet options" and change the homepage to what you want.  But if you meant that you want IE to be your default browser again, just choose it as also in "internet options".  Hope that solves things for ya

I did that already. It's the blue bar on top....it now says where I am...
then Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by AT&T WorldNet Service.

It's not a big deal I guess...but I'd like to get them off there.

check at&t world net services' preferences or options, it should be in there

and if not - go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and download the new version of IE. It's still in Beta, but I've been using it a while and see zero problems (to tell the truth, I'm having a hard time seeing much that's different aside from the personal bar and the image interaction...)

Ok, I have a question here.
I went into control panel and highlighted my IE 5.5...it gave me 3 choices..

1. add component (I know I don't want that)
2. repair (might be a good idea)
3. restore the previous Windows config..

Now what will #3 do? Will I lose all my favorites or anything? Or if I download the NEW version.....will I lose what I have now?
