i start to realize that i made a mistake in writing in another forum
so i want to be clear about the poetry challenge forum how is one a member of it?

and about the smilies i don't know for sure how to use them so i will try right now by checking the box for the first time and i hope it won't be catastrophic

The only two forums that are "special" in the sense you mean are in Sanctuary, one for poetry and one for discussions. Those two were set aside for Senior Members (500 posts or more) so that old friend would have a quiet place to gather. All of the other forums are for any and all Members.

As for the smilies, Monique, I think the box you're checking is the one that says "Disable Smilies," and that's exactly what it does. If you do what you did in your second post, enter the name of a smilie preceded and followed by colons, and do not check the Disable Smilies checkbox, I think you'll find it works just fine.
