hi there,
could anyone tell me what the opening and closing folder to the left of the title means.

i know that when it is closed it means no more replies, but what about when it is flapping open and closed

It means that post is the members very first here at Passions! It signals us all to read the poem and welcome the new member to the family. Cool huh?

When a folder is opening and closing, it means that post is the first one made by that poet - a new Passions member.

The orange-colored folders indicate the posts that have been made or changed since your last login on the site.  

The yellow-colored folders are the posts that haven't been changed since your last visit.
