Anyone else having these problems?

- My Preview dosn't display the entire post.

- My photo won't display--it keeps getting deleted from my profile.

- I'm not getting all my e-mail notifications.

I'd especially like some help with the first one, please. I'm afraid if I go ahead and post even though it doesn't show properly in the Preview, that my post won't come out right.

The preview seems to be working fine for me. There's no way to know without seeing what you're trying to post, but I would guess that you're using HTML to format? If so, I would have to suspect there's a problem with your coding. The solution is to start simple, then add more formatting incrementally. When and if you reach a point where it won't preview, you'll know that last thing you did was wrong. The Preview, just like the forums, just like all of the Internet, can't display unless you properly tell it how.

Thanks for your reply, but that's not my problem. I'm not using HTML. I'm simply trying to cut and paste from my Word document. It displays properly in the Message Field, but when I click Preview, only half my poem is displayed. I'm not doing anything wrong. It's all standard text with no unusual punctuation or anything else that could cause this. It's really frustrating me. I've tried everything I can think of. I even tried pasting it into my Note Pad first and that didn't work. It's not consistant, though. Other text (poems) seem to cut and paste with no problem.

I'm tempted to just go ahead and post it anyway and see what happens, but I'm afraid that if it doesn't display properly in the Preview, then it will show up currupted in my post. Or does that matter?

In other words, won't it post properly as long as it displays correctly in the Message Field? Or must it also appear correctly in the Preview?

Do you think the problem might be solved by re-registering with a different name and e-mail?

BTW, my "Clear Fields" button doesn't work either.

Here's a hint. I never preview a post.. I post it...view it..and then edit if I need to make changes...saves me some time...

BTW, I had told you in a reply to you a couple of days ago, that I would post my response to your "If I Were A Poet" challenge. This is the post I was having trouble with. It's frustrating, because I think it happens to be my best poem yet.

I'll go ahead and do like you suggest. So, if it looks weird at first, wait a while and check it again later. Keep watching for it. I think it's a good one. I hope it comes out o.k.

Gene, Sometimes my entire poem does not fit if I preview it, and I figured out that it is because the poem is too long for the preview, but it does post the entire poem, dont worry!

Just be glad I'm not your child! *evil grin*
