I went to add a signature on my profile and it isn't showing up with my new replies and posts. What do i need to do?

You almost got it, danni...  

Above the large input area where you enter your message are prompts for name, password, subject, message icon, and formatting. Obviously you've seen those because you used them when you started this thread. Right?

Well, under that large input area is one more prompt (labeled "Options") that I suspect you might have missed...
