Listening to every heart

Is this poetically correct? Or is a comment to suffice, then go off and write the "brother/sister" poem to the one just read?
I for one would enjoy reading someone's response to my work in their poetic verse comment. Or, does it insinuate that the respondee is trying to grab the limelight? [Far from my intention...but when a piece grabs you and takes you off to such a place that the only way to respond is in kind...well, some of you have been there, so...]
Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
