Picture of Truth


You may silence the mocking bird,
You may carrel the media heard,
You may use brute force to rout,
Truth will still seep out.

You may quench rising desert storm,
You may conquer Mars’s half dome,
You may deploy diplomatic tongue,
Truth will still escape to be sung.

You may paralyse the mind of the people.
You may silence the bells in the steeple.
You may allure folks with your riches,
Truth will still clime out of dark ditches.

You may freeze-filter World Wide Web.
You may sink senses to their lowest Ebb.
You may send protesting pacifists to jail,
Picture of Truth sails above the gale.
