State of constant confusion!

~~I wrote this to the mother of my children but since I don't know where she is I couldn't send it to her. So, I thought I'd just post it here in hopes that someone in this situation will see how much it hurts all involced and realize that what they are doing is wrong.~~

Living each day with this emptiness
Makes the night seem Oh, so long
I can't run away from this whole you left
In the middle of my heart
Can't you see what this is doing to me?
Or does it even bother you to see?
To keep a father from his children
What kind of person cam you be?
I did all I could when we were married
To keep our love alive
But I guess the past doesn't matter now
Since we've both moved on with our lives
But what about our children?
Have you considered how they feel?

Uh, gotta check here. You want a critical evaluation of the poem? Can't help but wonder if it's too close for criticism. Perhaps another forum might be more appropriate?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Brad
