This is One of the first Poems I had ever written, But Still Only about a year ago And I have never gotten a critical analysis of it yet.

Underdog

Covered in snow all withered and bare,
the wilderness aglow with distress and dispair,
The picture of us so fitting and true,
We know what we want, don't know what to do,
We think that we loathe the sorrows we face,
But what have we got if not our disgrace,

Then out of the mist arises our greatest of myths,
Clouds in the mind, not facing the truth,
our sorrows we find, we're not down in the tooth,
Our happiness comes when we aren't on the tops,
but not on the bottom for that's when it stops
The truth then finds us from out of the fogs,
What we all want it to be underdogs.

i really like these lines

am not sure i understand all of the poem, and some of it reads forced as if you wrote it only to fit the rhyme...i think it has potential, but would like a little more explanation before i say any more ok?

The rhyming in It was not difficult I generally picked words that were easy to rhyme but I can Understand that you could take Fogs as being forced for Underdogs...

But it was a discription that I saw perfect well Not Perfect...

That whole Verse

Is about the Fogs of umm well Deep Beliefs, that Hide teh true meaning of what you do.. whether it is science poetry whatever.

"Mist, clouds, Fogs"

While the fist verse is more of A discripition os the Human race...

The Last two lines
We think we loath...
but what have we got...

That to me.. AT that time described the greatest hidden philosophy that Most people have...

Its like saying If we are happy all the time, Then Happy Becomes part sad...
