I really concentrated on the meter, not repeating words or phrases and words that rhyme, am I getting closer?

No Words Can Express
-renamed-
Words Aren't Enough

A new generation that sparkles with gold,
eagerly takes part in life's ritual dance,
the secret of youth which never grows old,
willing to give all to earn that one chance.

Subtle changes within you are taking place,
your inner voice whispers as you lay asleep,
whispers of the woman you've yet to become,
faint hints of the woman you've yet to meet.

As the little girl diminishes from my view,
I see a young woman emerge in her stead,
did I help you with all you needed to learn?
did I say all the words needed to be said?

As I watch you pass this important threshold,
the mother in me cries to not let you go,
you look back as if you knew my thoughts,
the woman in me smiled, yes, you did know.

(Cathy et Chantal, il n'y a pas de mots au monde qui peut exprimer
comment je t'aime)

Think of saying "I Love You" as always being overdue.
Love is a gift, not an obligation.
