Your love is like a wild flame
A flame that I don't wish to tame

It scavenges and seeks me out
Spreading love all around me

It burns
It tingles
It suckes me in
Until the walls
Of your heart
Trap me within

I sink
And am caught
For my heart could never be bought

This flame that captures me
I cannot deny
For it tells me
That on you
I can rely.

Oh flame
Forever hold me
Rock me in your arms
And never let go
Hold me close
So I cannot see the storm
From within your soul
Never release me
For this flame of yours
That encloses me
Is what makes me whole.

This is a poem dedicated to my boyfriend/best friend Jonathan.
