Dance With Me

Hold me tight, dance with me love,
heaven holds out her arms to me.
It beckons me unto the Father above,
so the last dance is what this will be.
The terrible ravenous disease within,
consumes everything that is good.
It makes my body weak and thin,
it's taken everything that it could.
Let us dance across the summer sky,
dressed, only, in stardust dear.
Our love is forever, so please don't cry,
just be my friend and hold me near.

E~
Very pretty. Could almost be a sonnet if you wanted to stretch it a wee bit. Nice as it is though.
best regards,
