It took me a few reads to see where you were going and I'll be the first person to admit that there's is no experience quite like LIVE jazz.  Do you honestly get the same sensation from CD's?

hi Brad,
sometimes i can travel back to the live recording session clinging to the edge of the cd. but only if it is a good recording.
