Camera Flash

Blossoming flesh refreshes my eye--
a fresh girl who can be so sweet.
How she inflames. Good photograph. Hot!
In wearing out my camera, strap

has turned loose around my neck.
Settled down, she's pictured, posed;
calmly baits for the shutter's release.
What a view, with the lens: wide-angle.

When I point
I aim to shoot--
for that flick...the click! click! click!
Now down and low. She holds. I snap her.

Leon

~smile~ Now this time Brad's comment on your other post definitely applies ... I can maybe see at least a couple of "meanings" and plenty of subtle innuendo.  It has the same fresh fun "innocent" (heh) feel as before, and again cheered my evening which I tell you has been pretty horrible till now.

Oh yes ... did you mean "baits" or "waits" ?.. baits would work I suppose if you maybe see her as "bait" for the camera, or the speaker/photographer or something ... so many meanings Brad ... so little time  .

Thanks poertree for your comments. The word choice of "baits" is deliberate, as in she teases.

Now about the innuendo, hmmm, I don't know about that.
When photography was my passion, I use to shoot flora down and low, like on my stomach to truly capture the right perspective. Of course, I only mentioned that just in case anyone was wondering.

Thanks again,
Leon
