Sermon of Sorts

A sermon of sorts to myself:
Why should I fret that I'm different from everyone else?

I'm me,
and that's all I'm ever expected to be.

I like this

Although for some none apparent reason , probably connected to the fact that I’m a fool, I wanted the last line to read

Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool:
But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet.

Thank you, Craig. This is the only poem I've written that I like so far this year. You're right every fool is not necessarily a poet, but he still shows up at the poetry readings.
