Quite a marvel for the time
admired for a new run
fit for special events
rare likable breeds
sprout between seasons
roll along cart trail ruts
dust unfolds
becoming a better breed.
unknowingly...

what would one become
with quirky deeds in hand
a hand of spades commands
the house full of cards
on a dusty windswept routes

yet marvels age
and what becomes you
once musings saunter off
that you've turned a page
transformed
tap drips
in another room
always that other room
of a quirky home space
a rhythmic touch on window panes
waits forever to be answered.

The invention was quite a marvel
in its day...
stirrings of the old giving in
to the new
that aged too
better spirits
between seasons.

WW,I found this so intriguing..
thought of the model T, then how the
piece connects with one personally..
Can't explain it very well at the moment,
but I Liked it!

Word Wizard...Not sure what you were writing about, but liked the way it was written and the challenge of how to take this poem.
Enjoyed ...Paul

It might be taken as a reference to the horseless carriage, a new invention back in the day...any wheeled contraption real or imagined or just a musing on what becomes of something we create.

Change is part of life.  When one stagnates or becomes unwilling to adapt to changes in life itself, they either are worshiped for their rare but still cherished demeanor, the classic, or fade into obscurity.
