letting go and letting God
is something to be perfected
when hanging onto the devils rope
becomes an all consuming
tug of war
and the heat
never bothered you
anyway

yes, letting go and letting God
is something to be perfected
when the devil is on
the other end of the rope
and the fire is down below

and the water
it's cool there

Letting go is difficult when all you know is the fire of your personal hell though.

You show the struggle well. Enjoyed!

Angel...You paint a pretty dark picture with your words. Hang on with all your strength.

It's not the fall that hurts it's knowing there are no second chances after you let go.

Stay strong...Paul

Oh thank you both. I have been in a dark place maybe darker then hell. And I see many people basking in the cool water while dangling over hell fire sad. Is there any place else anymore?

Letting go can be the absolute hardest thing to do, yet somehow the most rewarding.  To realize all your struggling, and clinching and fighting strains no one but you, and that in letting go, more is usually accomplished than any amount of fighting ever could have.

Not sure where the waters are coolest, but I'll have mine delivered for now.

Angel, not sure this will help, but Michael and I wrote the book on melancholy. A thing can only be what it it. Carpe diem! Well written.
