“What if?”

I thought...

If I had more time, how would I use it?
Would my legacy be accomplishments
proved in a cloud-like file?

Waiting for those old black and white photos,
in the front room to open wide...
like curtains gasping for light and breath,
spewing prisms of stories…
Oh so many stories…playing peek a boo

Here and yet to be told

My mind is scattered,
flinching slightly
to the tune of a sideways glance….
begging for lips that melt away
locked doors,
trying not to roll my eyes,
stone apathy explaining life
as it grows older and finer...

And yet….

He is still sitting there,
watching,
I cringe,
for in my dreams
I know who He is….
and that He’s still there waiting,
waiting for an answer…
pausing thoughts and searching
a realm we have no concept of

I hear the hum
of a ceiling fan over me….
a cooling mist of breeze,
chasing me with arms open wide
of some severance package,
whispers ever so softly,
lowly,
like late morning sunbeams
stretching for a room of glow,
pure and white

Everything else fades,
within this symphony,
this thicket of music
that never ends…
wrapping it’s arms around me,
pulling me
in a nightly bottle of suppose,
maturity trickling thru fingers,
personalities encountered….
always echoing,
"the truth prevails!"

We look into sincerity,
drunk and slow to wake,
hearts lost,
but bigger than before…
this perception is like a circle...
enveloping and
there He is,
exposed, like Fatima,

can you see?

"We look into sincerity,
drunk and slow to wake,
hearts lost,"

Sincerity doesn't find many of us in any sort of timely fashion.  In truth, Sincerity is the daughter of Regret in most cases...not sure if she has ever, within any of us, been born free and on her own.  The price of growing up I suppose.  Once found, I doubt many of us would want to go back to the innocent state of mind and try again.  First time through was painful enough.

The ultimate answer to one's call for help - help of any kind, for anything, is hope; hope, being synonymous with God's many guises, regardless whether we do, don't or partially believe in the possible of His existence.

He is the one consistency that almost all of us turn to when there are no other answers in any and all aspects of our lives.

In all our tribulations, when nothing is left, we can always hope, by calling on Him.

Hope that makes sense . . .

walk easy . . .
