The mask is useless
Says Jean Marie, yes,
It’s true, says Sébastien
ah yes adds Marie.

They know above all
That they risk nothing at all,
Then why bother with it
To save other puppies

The mask is useless
Says Jean Marie, that yes
I’m safe, so
U don't care for other people

This is a hard poem to comment on.  I think here in America most people would have tossed the masks aside already if left to their own devices.  Most of us are fear-driven by the media though and inflated reporting numbers of both actual Covid cases and deaths that Covid was actually responsible for.  The media serves a higher purpose than human lives you know, they are pushing a political agenda and where their lines of morality are drawn are questionable at best.

Human life is precious above all, and I wear my mask dutifully every day...but I still get the feeling we are all being played in some manner.  Sheep, such as us must be pacified you know...gives us a good scare and we just give up all control of our lives here in this country.  After reading you poem, I think I might envy the French.

What really upsets me is people who wear their mask below the nose and some just wear it on their chin. When I go out I see people wear them to get in a store, then once in they take them off...Paul

I truthfully think the biased media is doing their level best to scare the hell out of people.

A mask for America too Yann.
Got to wear them as if a life depends on it.
Because people like me and Jimmy and my husband have slim to none of surviving the virus. Scares the hell out of you what the Dr.says. ~L
