Ears That Hear

Birds greet us in the morning dawn
with songs filled with the joy of life
Dawn that breaks the darkness of night
its’ light warming our hearts and souls

Sounds of violence fills the air
wars and rumor of wars were warned
Air fills with sad angry voices
death and destruction fill the streets

Clouds are combined as storms threaten
lightning flashes, thunder rumbles
Threaten land and life equally
storms that are unprecedented

Volcanoes in diverse places
earthquakes tear planet asunder
Places and people quake in fear
as plagues spread evil amongst all

The Word warned of these latter days
but most do no have Ears That Hear
Days are here to prepare for Him
not knowing just when He appears

With all that is happening in the world, it is a treasured time when we can stop and listen to the beautiful sounds of the morning birds to replenish the soul. I find I cling to those sounds these days too Karen.

Best wishes,
/Kit

I hear you, Karen.  If I've learned anything at all in life, it's to have selective hearing.  I get up at four in the mourning every morning, and there are times I pause when stepping outside just to take in the peace of the world at that time.  I can tune out the world like nobody's business later, when all the distractions come.  At all times, I hear His message.

Paul...all we can do is pray for a better world where everyone is equal and enjoy the sounds of the world

Kit...thank you...it is good sometimes to listen to more than noise around us
