I can’t help but wonder-
If you ever think about me?
Recalling the good times,
When we were so young and so free.

The days when tomorrow
Was always wrapped up in today-
We danced with the Devil-
And sooner, or later, you pay.

I was a fool, girl-
I guess I will have to admit.
You were the smart one-
You knew when the time came to quit.

I’ve thought of you often-
As I watched my hair turning grey-
As I’m growing older,
There’s only one thing left to say…

We gave it a good run-
But you know the thing I find strange,
Could I do it over-
There’s not a thing I would change.

Wonderful...I too would not change the past...it is for learning and growth...nor do I forget the fun...life is for living...your talent with words and feelings will always bring a smile to my face...well done my friend

When I look back I pretty much draw the same conclusions about not changing anything. Maybe it's a Butterfly Effect type of awareness, that any change at all 90% or more of the time will end up negative...for me anyway.
