If you could only
look down the dark path
that beckons us forward,
but the light is fading fast.
The blind tap, tap, tap
with their walking sticks
while they fall
for all of the clever tricks
that they have been
prepared to receive,
by the evil cabal,
who strive to deceive.
If you could only see...
I would go before you,
at the end of the day
and sprinkle some bread crumbs
that you might find your way
or throw you a rope
to give you hope.
I might give you
some pure clean water
in a silver cup
to cleanse you
before the darkness
swallows you up.

The darkness is vast and unrelenting.  I think the breadcrumbs are a good idea.  The need is not recognizable yet, but soon will be.

Seems you offer hope.  I'll gladly take that and the water, please. Love raising!

Great job, Ida. I especially like the water to wash down the bread crumbs of hope. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
