Speaking in Silence

Can we live in our silence?
Will we live in our silence?
Can we stop the birds from singing?
Will we stop the waves from crashing?
Can we stop the wind from blowing?
Can you hear my silence whispering?

Many times we have been told to keep quiet, stay quiet, do nothing.
Still, within us, the voices speak loudly.
Ever heard us speak through silent eyes
untold realities of life, hurts, loves, future?

Don’t look away or blink.
The words float and linger in the air
for those who stand still
to let the breeze of images
wash over them.

Can we live in our silence?
Will we live in our silence?
Can we stop the birds from singing?
Will we stop the waves from crashing?
Can we stop the wind from blowing?
Can you hear my silence growing?

I like this. . .the challenge of it.

Nicely done. . .

What's in the silence needs to be heard. This has a dignified power. I love it.

So nice to see you here, E-girl.

"Ever heard us speak through silent eyes"

Yes, I have.  It IS time to be heard, and I believe you know the message that needs to be sent.  I pray that is the message received.

to talk loud or to talk in silence, everyone makes a choice, and life depends of that, thanks for the relevant poem
