Pakalolo

Falling, strange men . . .
falling in their arms,
always trying to hit bottom,
hide the fact of my life,
hide what I’ve become,
by day . . . by night,

Yeah.

Pakalolo my saving grace.

Jimmy,
You made me Google. Having said that, your ending I can relate to. The first part, not so much. If you care to shed some light on the falling men, I'm all eyes. ~L

Jimmy,
I never claim to be the brightest crayon in the box. It is not clicking with me even with your explanation. Maybe pakalolo has more than one meaning?

I've read it several times and I think the fog may be lifting a little. ~L

jwesley.  I am so glad those days are done and gone for me. too many memories of bad days and sleepless nights.  Every once in a while I get a whiff of that pungent smell, then I get hungry and forget why I really try so hard to forget, then I remember all over again.
Thanks, for the memories.

Enjoyed the short trip.

JL - took one puff at my wedding, in the kitchen with the guys.  Now, I'm a tee-totaling, wouldn't let you smoke in my house or car years before it was "a fashion statement" and between the choking, the gagging and spitting to get that Stuff out my mouth, I thought I was gonna die and miss my wedding (which would have been a damn shame - I mean 46 years and still teaching that rabbit how to do it . . . ). So, never again and the only smoke I inhale now is from grilled ribs!

walk easy,

j.

Kind of partial to the original here, but what do I know James?

Dark subject here.  I think maybe we're all prostitutes on the inside.  I sell my body 10+ hours a day, much at the cost of my soul.

What you need isn't always what you get and some sort of transformation is a blessing no matter the vehicle....Carpe Diem....or otherwise...
