I slowly lift my lazy head,
Sit up, and, slidden out of bed,
Open the lattice, and behold,
The world wrapt in unworldly gold.
My visage feels the early air
Already pulsing with its prayer.
The ghosts of stones no longer snore
But shed their spiritual blood t'adore
Almighty God.  The sun's bright rays
Are stretching out with trembling praise.
The pearly dewdrops spark with love;
The grass, the grit, all look above
At Heaven's grace with inner eyes,
In wonder and renewed surprise.
The flyers and the creepers show
The proper form of faith they know.
The soil, the hills, the leaves, the trees,
The clouds, the lakes, the waves, the breeze,
All meet the miracle of the day
In such a gratitudinous way,
I blush that I'm in such delay;
I blush, then join them as they pray.

You reinforce the power of prayer and the simple beauty of Gods gifts and miracles that are a part of our daily lives even when Mother Nature is having a rough day.

Your poem is uplifting and makes me grateful.
