Diving Swan

Which the star ridden sky
which the calm skin of water
poke a hole through the night and see
the diving swan so serene

How far the day's shore side
how close the teeth of winter
upstairs in this upside down dream
the diving swan so serene

We fall as we rise
the tears clear our eyes
and this cold stillness in our bones
will linger when we awake alone
a wash of white is the only view
fine feathers of the swan precious and few
learn not to run
learn not to hide
we must all come undone
we must all close our eyes

Who do these stars shine for
who drinks in this water
why the hole in the night to see
the diving swan so serene

Where the day’s distant shore
is bitten by the winter
fall downstairs in this side up dream
the diving swan so serene

Still the diving swan is so so
oh so
serene

Wooohooo...kind of like a cleansing of the mind...you brought the moonlight to life as only you can do.   Makes a girl feel all dreamy and dewy.  Love the soft shimmer soul drifter.

Souls, 'poke a hole through the night'..just
one line among many I love.
Wonderful visions you've created.
